[Highland Park] Two Entirely Unrelated Items
Hello all, I've been meaning to post these things.... Item #1: I've got something like eight 2.5 litre containers of a great floor/wood finishing product that I'm not going to use. It's from a company called BioShield and goes on much like a poly finish only it's a soy-based product and doesn't look like plastic when it's done. It's semi-high gloss sheen. I'm happy to sell them at a reduced cost, plus there would be no shipping, which is big old bonus. I have a piece of oak finished with the product if you need to see a sample first. Please visit this link for additional info. I'll sell in any quantity. Item #2: I think my large evergreen tree in my backyard is dying. ??? One day I looked up and the branches were turning brown. Could vines kill a hearty evergreen? It looks like it's got some vines. Or are there bugs that can kill evergreens? Anyone with landscape/tree knowledge that would like to share resources with me would be much appreciated. Item #3: This Friday, November 20, is officially "AcoustiCafe Day" in Pittsburgh (today's proclamation in City Council). There's a CD Release party of this organization's efforts to build the singer-songwriter and acoustic music community in our city down at Club Cafe this Friday, 8 pm. I'm one of 18 artists that have a song on the compilation CD, and all the performances were recorded live at the weekly open mic at Club Cafe over the summer. You are invited to join us for the party and celebrate with live music from 16 of the artists! These bigger AcoustiCafe events are usually quite the party. You can learn more by visiting my website or AcoustiCafe's Myspace.
