Highland Park Friends and Neighbors, We have loved being apart of the Highland Park community for the last 11 years and are hoping you can help us continue to make Highland Park our home. Recently our landlord informed us that they were planning to sell and while they offered to sell to us first, between the asking cost and necessary upkeep repairs, we aren’t able to make it work. Do you know of any homes to rent or buy in the greater Highland Park Area, either now or in the next three months? Or do you know anyone who has a rental or might be moving? We are looking for at least 2 bedrooms if not 3 but 1 bathroom is fine. We have been good tenants for 11 years between 2 rentals. As well, we have been pre-approved for a home purchasing loan up to $300,000. My husband, daughter and I love living in Highland Park - my daughter walks to school and my husband bikes to work each day, our neighbors are great and we love chatting over the fence or on the sidewalk with them, cheering on the marathoners along Highland Ave. each year has become a tradition, we can walk to so many of our friends homes, Bryant Street Market is our go-to for bread and treats, and the park itself has sustained many a lovely walk along side and chatting with a friend - to name only a few of the reasons why.
