[Highland Park] Pittsburgh Commission on Human Relations coming to Union Project
The Pittsburgh Commission on Human Relations is charged with the enforcement of laws prohibiting discrimination in the areas of employment, housing and public accommodations, as well as the resolution of situations involving police/community tension. The Commission holds meetings in various areas of the city to make it easier for the public to attend. The next meeting will be held at the Union Project at the corner of Stanton Avenue and N. Negley Avenue. The meeting will be held on Monday, October 4th at 7:00pm. Please attend this meeting to learn more about the activities of the Commission and to inform them about particular events of concern or general issues on which you feel they should focus.
