Re: [Highland Park] zone 5 police - sunoco gas station
Since this went to the full list I just want to be clear that I was not interested in pursuing a complaint against the officer who answered the phone and made a "cheeky" response. The officer took the report without complaint. As far as we are concerned he did his job fine. My issue is with the Sunoco station. Thanks, Dawn Zachow He took the report I just want to make sure the complaint gets in the rights hands, which from other off post messages i have recieved it looks like it has. Thank you all for your response. On Sat, Apr 3, 2010 at 7:47 PM, <Corinatoz1234@aol.com> wrote:
I have sent the original message to Commander Kraus (412.665.3605) and Public Relations Officer Michael Gay ( 412.665.3770) If the response from the police officer was true, that is unacceptable. I am President of the Zone 5 Citizen's Public Safety Council and we meet every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Union Project at Stanton and Negley Ave. Besides calling the police, call 311 and make a report. The administration looks at these reports and take them very seriously. Also, Councilman Dowd might be able to help you. Corinne Antoszewski

i received positive responses to this post including that people should consider boycotting this station. we seldom go in there because we are typically approached by panhandlers and now won't give them our business anymore.
it was suggested that we have a liaison with the zone 5 police and that I should contact him/her directly. could some please forward more information.
