Hi neighbors, This sweet black cat has come around our house a few times. Unsure of the sex, but they don’t have a collar. They’re very sweet and clearly not afraid of humans, which makes me think they have or recently had an owner. 50/50 on whether they’ll take the food we give so it seems like maybe the cat is being fed by an owner or other community members? Very distinct green eyes and a stubby tail (likely from a break at some point, when then leads me to think it’s a community cat). Two questions: does anyone know this cat? We’d love to return them, if lost! Or does anyone know a place we could take them if captured (to check for chip and general care)? We have two cats and are nervous about bringing them inside without testing for various contagious diseases, but the cat doesn’t come around reliably enough to make a drop off appointment at HARP. We’d be willing to adopt them once they’re cleared (and as long as they get along with our current cats). Any advice or help would be appreciated!
