Neighbors, We're hard at work getting ready to build a garden oasis for NatureLAB behind Food Glorious Food. I've attached the announcement below. We are hoping to have more volunteers from the neighborhood. Your skills can be used no matter what level. We do need some specific skills/items: 1. a carpenter to build the frames for the raised beds and to build several trellises. 2. a prune 3. someone with an eye for landscaping 4. tools (loaned or donated) and 5. plants if you have extras Come spend the day with us, or spend an hour. Food Glorious Food has graciously donated the use of their backyard for a garden oasis to get us started. We need your help to get things ready for the fall. Food and beverages provided by Food Glorious Food! We'd like to invite you to a garden build day. We need as many hands as we can get! We also need tools. . .bring them along for the day, or them a donation to NatureLAB. If it can be used in a garden, we can use it. Also, if you have items for the neighborhood yard sale but don't want to go through the hassle of having a sale yourself, why not donate it to us. We'll sell it and count it towards your contribution to NatureLAB. What we don't sell, we'll give to Goodwill. It works all the way around-you get to clean up round the house and get a tax write-off for it, and we get to raise money for local educational programs.
