3 p.m. (NOT 4 p.m.) Sunday January 8 -- Continuing this Sunday, January 8, at St. Andrew's, Highland Park, Pittsburgh: "How the Bible Became Sacred Scripture" -- We continue this Sunday our Fall/Winter Adult Education Series, in observance of this 400th anniversary of the King James Version of the English Bible, featuring our Priest Associate, the Rev. Dr. Philip Wainwright,with the third in a series of four presentations and discussions on the topic, "How the Bible Came to be Sacred Scripture."   This week we will be approaching the question of how some of the writings emerging in the early Christian community came to be regarded as Holy Scripture, the New Testament.
