Yoga Tuesday 8 a.m. in the park, Meditation class Wednesday June 27 7 p.m.
Greetings, The beautiful and warmth of summer invites us to many more freedoms: freedom of mind as we awaken to the early stirrings of morning, freedom of body as we move outdoors more readily, and freedom of spirit to open to a greater intuitive sense. “[T]he period between four and six in the morning is called the *Brahmamuhurta*, the Brahmic time, or divine period, and is a very sacred time to meditate. (140)” ― Swami Satchidananda <https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/488254.Swami_Satchidananda>, The Yoga Sutras <https://www.goodreads.com/work/quotes/54873> Come and enjoy the meditative state of yoga as we move mindfully this Tuesday morning June 26 in yoga in Highland Park. Meet to the right of the fountain by the main entrance. Class begins at 8 a.m. with gentle warmup stretches and flows into balance and strengthening asanas (poses). Please bring a mat and wear comfortable clothing. Cost is $10. Wednesday June 27 from 7 to 8 p.m. is our next meditation class in our summer series in Regent Square at 205 Biddle Avenue, 2nd floor.
