The Great Three Hours of Good Friday will be observed at St. Andrew's, Highland Park, tomorrow, March 25. At 12 Noon: Stations of the Cross At 1 p.m.: The Proper Liturgy for Good Friday, including the traditional reading of the Passion Gospel according to St. John, a Good Friday Meditation, the Solemn Collects, and hymns. Music will include Psalm 22, sung by Mary Pat Luley, and selections from the Good Friday sections of G.F. Handel's Messiah, sung by Blake Beckemeyer, Heather Eng, and Mia Bonnewell. At 2 p.m.: A Service of Music for Good Friday, with the St. Andrew's Parish Choir and soloists, including the Francois Couperin _Lecons de Tenebres_ . At 3 p.m. The Great Bell will be tolled 33 times, to observe the traditional number of years of our Lord's earthly life. We are invited to share in all Three Hours, or to arrive or depart as necessary in the brief intervals between the services.
