Our home at 817 Mellon Street got hit twice over the last couple of days--- On Saturday evening while entertaining out of town guests here at the house, our front picture window was hit with a plastic pot filled with topsoil. Good thing the pot was just plastic, surely the window would have been smashed. Now this morning, we discovered we got egged again. This will be the third time we've been egged in the last several months. The house next door also got some of this arsenal---getting egg off window screens and brick is very hard. There is a group of young kids hanging out on the stoop of the apartment house next to us and on the corner of Mellon and Jackson--- I am pretty sure they do not live there and they may not be from the neighborhood at all. This same group used to hang out on our steps when we first moved in but we told them to leave. Now they seem to congregate next door, on the corner and up through the 900 block of Mellon Street. Needless to say we are very frustrated, does anyone have suggestions? Happy New Year! Pierina Morelli
