I thought some neighbors with kids might be interested in what is one of the best summer camp weeks in the city -- the Frick Art and Historical Center's summer day camp. It is targeted at 2nd to 5th graders and this year is offered twice -- August 7-11 and August 14-18. The 9:00 to 3:00 day is spent on creative art projects, learning about the center, and in past years, on an end of camp show, plus they offer before and after care. The teachers are terrific and the kids get to work on projects, explore the museums and also play outside.

I have no interest or involvement in this other than we have sent our daughter to it for years and I think more Pittsburghers should know about this camp!
