Most of us have stories about critters finding their way into our homes but this morning was a first for me. Friends who live across the street on Sheridan Avenue, Dee and Jim, had a groundhog find its way into their first floor dining room. Not sure the little guy knew he was early for their annual Christmas party, but he did make for an exciting start to our Sunday. *Kudos to the city's Animal Control team* as they cooly caged the animal after they pried it out from behind a piano. Here Jim and I thought we could take it out in a box. Attached is a pic of Jim, a.ka. "Big Game Jim," and his new friend...just in case you thought I was making this up! Tom P.S.
