Hello Thank you for helping us get a great turnout at the Act 47 Review Board Meeting--over 200 people from throughout the city packed into the Calvary Church. We need your help to do it again. Although this time we need to get our message across that we as City tax payers can not bear a tax increase or cuts in city services. The last meeting talked a lot about all non-profit should pay taxes and what city taxes could be raised, instead of our message that we as city residents can not take any more and that the answer is creating a tax structure that is fair, which means everyone who works in the City pays their fair share instead of sticking it to the residents. The Final Meeting of Act 47 Review Board for comment from City Residents will be at 7 pm on May 5 at the Pitt Student Union, orange building located across from the Cathedral of Learning on Bigelow Boulevard.
