We have had this for over 20 years and have taken excellent care of it. It has had plexiglass on the front to protect the glass for when kids were small. It was professionally stripped and finished. We have the original shelves which are solid wood, as well. This solid wood all around, no MDF or particleboard. It’s simply a gorgeous, classic piece we just don’t have a place for it.
