Several people have asked for the responses I received about mold remediation and basement waterproofing. Here are the responses so far: 1). I used Un Flood It (http://unfloodit.com) this past winter for mold remediation. They were recommended by the environmental engineer I had at my house. There was a few months' lead time, and I admittedly didn't get other quotes, but their work was thorough and they were very nice to work with. 2) Stay away from Baker's Waterproofing......(this person tried Baker's as well as Everydry & neither could fix his basement problems) 3). I own a small business and I’d be happy to come look at it for you. I’ve attached my business card to this message. Have a great day (Greg Lantz) 4). We had a great experience with Keystone basements 5). We used Baker's Waterproofing a few years ago to take care of our leaky basement. I have no complaints at all and was happy with the work they did. We got all of our walls sealed, an indoor french drain and a sump pump. Basement has been dry ever since. Two things I will pass along: 1. Ask a LOT of questions during the consultation to find out *exactly* what they are going to do. There are some weird rules that they need to follow when it comes to where water can drain. 2. It's *expensive*. But, if you have a basement that has water problems there are very few options to fix it. Especially with a majority of the older houses in the city limits. Personally, I feel it was worth every penny. Also: even though it's not cheap, I *really* hope the two guys that did the work get paid well, because those two dudes deserve every cent that I paid Baker's and probably more. Those guys did a fantastic job and it was *hard* work. 6). I hired Highlander Waterproofing for some basement water issues (water seeping into walls). They did a good job waterproofing the walls and installing a sump pump Will pass along any more I receive!--Pamela
