I just wanted to thank each and every one of you for all the wonderful information on Highland Park, your kindness, offers of help and friendship! I am so touched by the warmth and clearly folks are passionate about and love their neighborhood. I'm sold! And Drew is, too. We spent a bunch of time driving around the neighborhood a couple of weekends ago and I really felt like the neighborhood was wonderful, but the MIL said it was terrible and dangerous. We're different enough that I didn't put a lot of stock in that, but did want to ask some questions. I have loads of ideas to help build up the business district -- in DC we're awfully good at having big ideas! -- and hope to work with the neighborhood and the relevant groups to make sure my ideas are on track with what you guys would want. Once we get ourselves settled, I'd love to roll up my sleeves and start helping out to make a fantastic place even better. Thanks again.
