On Thursday 20 April, the Education InnovationsLAB Charter School will host a demonstration of the SMART Boards we will be using as the primary curriculum delivery instrument for our school. We'll demonstrate the technology-rich Core Curriculum (Destination Success) using SMART Boards. We'll also show how we will use the online curriculum as a springboard to hands-on projects, community projects, and the Laboratories of Inquiry. One of our prospective teachers will be demonstrating a short spelling lesson as well. All are welcome. We will show you how our model, our curriculum, our philosophy, and our balanced view of daily technology use coupled with strong hands-on projects that provide immediate application of academic skills will create the best school for Pittsburgh's future. We will begin at 5:00pm and go til about 6:15pm, unless people have more questions.
