Hi neighbors - You may have seen members of Obama's marching band out near the school raising money (and sweating) this summer. The marching band is raising funds to send 50 students (band, drumline, dancers, and color guard) to band camp for a week at Slippery Rock University, and support the band throughout the marching band season. These great kids work hard to represent the school well, and to raise funds to defray costs so everyone can participate. This Tuesday 7/23, the band holding a fundraiser at the Eastside Chipotle from 5:00-9:00 pm. The band will receive 33% of all proceeds from walk in orders who either show the attached flyer or mention they are there for the Obama band fundraiser while checking out. While online orders and purchases of gift cards don't count towards the fundraiser, using a gift card to purchase your order does. Please come support these fantastic kids (many of whom are Highland Park residents) and grab an easy dinner at the same time! We'd love to see you there.
