Dear Neighbors, My daughter and her friend from Morningside are participating in the Student of the Year fundraising campaign and competition for the Leukemia Lymphoma society. Their team Paper Hearts has dedicated the campaign to me and TODAy is the kick off!!There are many ways to contribute to this fight against blood cancers as part of their campaign. For the next six months she underwent chemotherapy and multiple surgeries.This was an extremely difficult time for her physically, mentally, and emotionally. Five years later, Mia is thriving in good health, and is appreciative of programs like LLS that can support patients during hard times like that of those she herself experienced. We are running this campaign for her. We are a candidate team running for Student of the Year through the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS). By competing for the title of Student of the Year, we are running a campaign to raise money for this organization. This fundraising campaign lasts seven weeks, from January 19 to March 9.
