Hello Highland Park Neighbors. I'm the Cubmaster of Cub Scout Pack 343. We're your neighborhood Cub Scout pack over in Morningside. We are meeting this evening (5/1) about adding girls and Kindergartners to our pack. In order to make this change, we need to know who’s interested—to have their youth participate and/or to volunteer to help because Cub Scouts only works with adult leadership! If you are interested in having your girl and/or Kindergartner join Cub Scouts (grades K/1-5), please join us at 6:30pm. The meeting will be held in the auditorium at the St. Raphael Activity Center (old school building) at 1154 Chislett St, Pittsburgh PA 15206. Park in the main parking lot on Chislett St, on the street, or behind the Activity Center (accessible via Bryant Street). The door to enter the auditorium is along the left side of the Activity Center as you look at from Chislett St. We will be accepting registrations for ALL youth who will be in grades K through 5 in the fall to join the pack at this time. The cost to join for the rest of this year is $44. (That cost does not include the uniform or handbook.) Anyone who joins will receive a container of flashing crystal putty (slime) from our local council. If that's not an awesome joining bonus, I don't know what one is! :) I hope you will be able to join us.
