[Highland Park] Community Plan Final Town Meeting
All members of the Highland Park community are invited to attend the third and final Town Meeting in the community planning process, Monday, June 23 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church at 5801 Hampton Street. At the meeting the Planning Team will present goals, strategies and implementation steps for the Highland Park Community Plan. The work is composed of neighborhood and survey data and specific recommendations for community improvement in areas such as community safety, education, recreation and youth development. Your input at this stage is important--after more than a year of hard work by local residents, we have an opportunity to build on the strengths of our neighborhood and to make it a model of a vibrant, healthy community. The planning team welcomes your participation in this event, and looks forward to hearing your perspectives on their efforts. Copies of a discussion document will be available June 20th at Enrico's Tazza d'Oro, Walnut Market and Sandy's Deli, and on the web at <http://www.highlandparkpa.com/> and soon also at <http://www.highlandparkcommunity.com/>: Town Meeting Announcement - <http://www.highlandparkpa.com/TownMeeting030623.pdf> (1 page/344 Kbytes) Highland Park Survey Results - <http://www.highlandparkpa.com/HPCPSurveyChapterDraft030620.pdf> (31 pages/581 Kbytes) Highland Park Survey - <http://www.highlandparkpa.com/HPCPSurvey020821.pdf> (16 pages/279 Kbytes) Coffee and cold drinks will be served, and participants are also encouraged to bring a dessert to share.
