Brick Street Repair/Repaving Input Appreciated
The asphalt half of the 1300 block of Sheridan Avenue was repaved last week, leaving the brick half alone. But, all of us who live on this part of Sheridan are concerned because of how the bricks have settled over the decades--it is uneven, and cars driving/parking and walkers can find it challenging. Many of you walk on Sheridan on your way to the park. We would like input from folks who live on similar brick or stone-paved streets, or who have worked with this issue re: dealing with the city about repair and repaving. We know it is going to be $$ and labor intensive, and want to research and plan smartly. Please email us with your experience, advice, thoughts...Thanks much.
