This morning I observed a pair of Cedar Waxwings in my yard at Jackson & N. Euclid. I've never seen them before (anywhere!) Crested, mostly gray/brown with bright yellow at tip of tail. Are these common in HP? They were gathering nest material, so I hope they stick around. I would very much enjoy other postings on the "wild side" of Highland Park. I've seen some awesome things just sitting in my backyard and walking around the neighborhood.
