Kilns are available for rent if you’re only interested in firing work made off site. For its part in Pittsburgh Celebrates Glass 2007, the Union Project is planning to host several events involving and celebrating glass art. Margaritas in March will involve the sale of handmade glasses, margarita tasting and music. Artists will recover 70% of the revenues from the sale of these classes. The remaining 30% of the sales will go the Union Project to help recover the cost of the events and to contribute to the organization’s operational costs.
