Regardless of Race, Religion, or Region violence touches us all both locally and globally. We see this violence start in the home and spread through our neighborhoods to our city and state, across our country and all over the world. We need 2,015 attendees starting at EECM’s Community House and weaving through the neighborhood. We will begin lighting candles at 7pm with short prayers from a number of clergy from our member congregations representing all faiths. Each person will light the candle of the person next to them, sharing the light of peace. The search for peace unites all of us in our work with one another and in the community. As members of the Highland Park community, I hope to see you at the event where we will unify for peace locally and globally.
