I have received mixed recommendations on Seigel Plumbing... Below, I share the comments received. (Seigel Plumbing and Heating) for twenty years - and am obviously satisfied with his work. We can recommend Siegle--we have used Mark Seigle for a few years now, and have always been satisfied with his work. He also does the plumbing for St. Andrew's. I had a bad experience with Siegle. I couldn't get them to come back to look at problems with shower they had repaired. "Siegle was our plumber for years, we were happy with his services recently though, we had some problems -- we called him to have a gas stove hooked up and it took about 4-5 phone calls until they called back (we had two stoves in the kitchen for 3 weeks!), and eventually did it. Siegle showed up with another guy to basically connect one hose to the gas line and charged us half an hour labor x 2 men -- $125. Plus parts $25. We decided it's not that bad, but I don't really see the point of paying 2 men for such a small job that actually one of them did. The last drop was the furnace -- he gave us and estimate in February -- we got a lower one and a few higher, but thought it would be nice to keep them. Siegle kept postponing us with the installation ("you don't need a furnace in the summer") and was surprised when I followed up on the dates he promised to come and do it. " I made a final call in June to ask for a firm answer - is he interested in doing the job or not. He never called back. My biggest disappointment is that his procrastination made us lose the other spring discounted offers we got from other companies, and we'll probably pay more now when it's close to season. To sum it up, he used to be a good plumber, right now he seems to be having some issues, so until he get his act together we're looking for a good one too!"
