Yard Waste Collection is this Saturday, April 20th!
BI-ANNUAL YARD DEBRIS COLLECTION IS THIS SATURDAY APRIL 20 The *Department of Public Works (DPW) Environmental Services* will hold the first of its bi-annual yard debris collection <https://pittsburghpa.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=e562dca418a41a4ab246a3bb1&id=d08074813f&e=1dffca55e1> events on *Saturday, April 20*. Residents should place their yard debris, including branches, leaves, and grass, on the curb for collection *before 6:00 a.m. that Saturday. * DPW’s goal is to reduce the amount of valuable natural resources *we deposit into landfills*. Yard debris collected from this event will *produce local compost,* some of which will *enrich landscapes throughout the city. * *“This is a great program for the city.
