Hello Fellow Highlanders, My name is Justin Brown. I just graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and also run a successful painting business every summer to pay off my school loans. We are fully insured and bonded and I've attached 7 client reference letters, 4 of which are clients that live in Highland Park whose house I just painted this summer. I need your help in order to achieve my goal, if you are willing! It would mean a lot to me if you could take a few minutes and call some of your close friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, people you attend church with, etc and ask them if they need any painting/staining done. If so, I'll happily give them a free quote. I've also attached an email that you could forward to people. Here's the important part: I'll give you $100 for every referral you give me, granted they hire me to do the job. Here's the situation: I've been working my butt off (50 hrs a week) since February (I've gone door-to-door every week, even when there was snow on the ground, I've done 72 estimates so far, I've put lawn signs on every one of my job sites, flyer dropped Highland Park too many times to count, etc etc) all while taking 18 credits, doing another internship with ADP, and managing 2 paint crews. I'm incredibly close to hitting my goal of $100k in revenue. If I reach that, not only will I be able to pay off a good chunk of my student loans, but also I will get to go to Cancun all expenses paid, and break the all-time record for College Works Painting in Pennsylvania. Most importantly though, I will have proved to myself that I can do just about anything that I put my mind to. Being that I just graduated from Pitt, I really really want to be able to say to my next interviewer that I ran a $100,000 business while in college! Please help me reach my goal!
