On Tuesday night around 10:00 pm, I was sitting in my car in front of my house on Elgin Street checking my email. I noticed a man walking slowly towards my car in the passenger side mirror. I had a bad feeling, since he seemed to be lurking a bit, so I locked the doors. Not even a second later, he tried to enter the passenger door of my car. I honked the horn several times to scare him away. He stared at me and then said "wrong car" and fled down the street. He was long gone by the time the police arrived. I had never seen him before and am still shaken up (white male, medium to heavy build, 30s, black t-shirt). Who knows if it was truly a mistake or not (didn't feel like one), but please be extra aware of your surroundings, especially while sitting in your car. Marissa Hicks
