Dear Highland Park Neighbors, My name is Emma Tulsky. I'm fourteen years old and I'm looking to raise money by doing odd jobs. I'm trying to raise money for a very exciting opportunity I have to be part of a program called People to People. People to People was founded by Dwight D. Eisenhower and all the presidents since have been the honorary chairmen. People to People is about joining Teens all around the world and learning about our cultural differences. I am in the Sports Ambassadors part of the program, playing soccer. The trip this year for People to People is to Vienna, Austria, to participate in the Ambassador games. I am really interested in going to Austria because I've never gone there and I especially never played soccer there against other teams all over the globe. I'm very excited about meeting people from my country that are as interested in soccer as I am. Another cool part about People to People is that it is kind of like the Olympics in the way that you represent your country and you compete against other Teens from other countries. The downside is that the program is very expensive and I have to come up with one thousand dollars on my own to participate, and my parents will pay the rest. I am very motivated to raise this money, and I can do whatever you think a 14 year old is capable of doing.
