Dear neighbors, Three girls from Highland Park participate in the 40-member River City Youth Chorale, a performing ensemble for girls and young women ages 8-18. They practice Tuesdays evenings during the school year at CMU's Fine Arts Building (8-12 year olds from 6-7:30, older girls from 7:30 to 9pm). Our daughter joined four years ago, and it has been a source of excellent music instruction, important friendships, discipline and self-esteem building. She's enjoyed the concerts, choir summer camp, winter retreat weekend, and performing around town.
