Meet Union Project Founder Running for US Congress PA 16, 9/28 6:30pm
Neighbors: Welcome former Highland Park resident Jess King back to Pittsburgh and hear about her vision for an America that works for all of us at the Union Project, 6:30pm - 9pm, Thursday, September 28. Help her flip a US Congressional seat from red to blue in PA’s 16th Congressional District - in South Central PA, including parts of Lancaster, Berks & Chester Counties. The event will feature Q&A time with Jess and remarks from Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto. Brief program at 7PM. She has spent her career in PA doing equitable community development - which she continues in Lancaster. Her life and work bridge the district’s diverse constituencies - from faith-based business owners and working families of color, from refugees and rural farmers. She is a respected, authentic local leader with a deep local and national network.
