Women of Song in Highland Park starts February
Hello Highland Parkers --- https://pittsburghgirlschoir.com/about-pgc/women-of-song/ Women of Song will start this spring -- running Wednesday nights (7 - 9 pm) at St. Andrews on Hampton St. in February, March, and April. Women of Song is an inter-generational choir for women. Started in 2014, it seeks to be a safe, supportive environment for women to achieve a high level of choral singing. It is a place to get into or back into singing, learning high-quality repertoire and healthy vocal production. Women of Song offers learning opportunities for those who want to get into choral singing, and leadership opportunities to women with advanced skills. Rehearsals start *Wednesday, February 7 at 7 pm* Last rehearsal is Wednesday, April 25 Concert is *Saturday, April 28* -- we will aim for two afternoon performances (1 for the nursing home and 1 for friends/family) at St. Andrews Episcopal Church Registration and more info can be found here: https:// pittsburghgirlschoir.com/about-pgc/women-of-song/ If you have strong feelings about your voice placement, please let me know. I will also happily audition you for voice placement! We've moved the *tuition aspect of Women of Song to a sliding scale*. We hope this allows everyone who wants to participate the ability to do so. If tuition presents a problem for you, please don't hesitate to ask for assistance. Alternatively, if tuition presents no problem for you -- consider donating to support other choristers. This program runs solely on tuition collected. I'd be delighted for you to join us -- let me know if you have any questions. Excitedly, Emily -- Emily Swora 651-212-0791 Pittsburgh, PA
