Education Innovations, Inc. and the planning team for the Education InnovationsLAB Charter School will hold an community meeting tomorrow from 6:30pm until 8:30pm in the Canteen section of the Kaufmann Auditorium at the Hill House in the Hill District. Proposed to open K-6 in September 2006 and expanding one grade each subsequent year until full enrollment in 12th grade, eiLAB Charter School will allow students to master Science, Technology, Architecture/Engineering, The Arts, Languages, and Social Studies(geography, history, economics, etc.) The eiLAB Charter School will feature: *216 day school year *no more than 20 students per class *rotation through all six labs every year K-6 with a major and minor concentration from 7th-9th grades *full service tutoring center housed in the school and part of each child's school schedule *NatureLABcommunity as an outdoor science classroom. *first K-12 magnet-style school in Pittsburgh Please come hear about the eiLAB Charter School tomorrow.
