It seems that just about everyone has been touched by the addiction epidemic affecting the country. In 2016, 613 people died from drug overdoses in Allegheny County. Treatment programs are available for people in need and their families. Message Carriers is a Recovery Support Service Agency whose mission is to provide advocacy and recovery related services to individuals and family members impacted by addiction and/or mental health issues.
