I'm happy to report that Morrison was stuck under our front porch this afternoon, through a hole from which he couldn't exit. Neither my husband nor I saw or heard him there this morning, though we both looked. I was thrilled to hear him meowing when I got home from work! Thank you to everyone who sent responses, suggestions, and words of encouragement today. Losing a pet is one of the more upsetting things in life - they're our furry kids. He was quite hungry!
