[Highland Park] Cat Climbing Tower
In an effort to help my cat Max transition from outdoor to indoor cat, I bought one of those climbing towers that are recommended by cat experts like Jackson Galaxy of "My Cat from Hell" fame. I thought - silly me - that he'd love it and that it would give him hours of entertainment in the window, in front of a busy bird feeder. Well, being a cat, Max has a mind of his own. He apparently has no need for "verticality" despite what the experts say. He does not want to climb the tower or sleep in it. It has been sitting in my apartment, untouched, for 4 weeks now. I thought that maybe he needed to get used to it and would "find" it on his own. No such luck. It may be that Max is too old for climbing - he's 10. I know other cat owners who have these towers and their cats love them. Kittens especially seem to go crazy for them. So I have this tower for sale. It's brand new, from Amazon, all assembled, and is literally untouched. It is 57 inches high, weighs 44 pounds, and has 5 levels. The surfaces are covered with ivory fleece. It includes a cat condo, several perches, scratching posts and fleece covered balls for the cats to bat at. I have the manual and the tools that came with it, but I recommend taking it assembled. It's a job to put it together. I paid $84 for it, plus shipping. Make me an offer! I really want it to go to a kitty (or kitties) that will enjoy it. _http://www.amazon.com/Armarkat-B5701-57-Inch-Tree-Ivory/dp/B003BYQ100/ref=s r_1_fkmr0_3?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1353944266&sr=1-3-fkmr0&keywords=aram ark+cat+tree_ (http://www.amazon.com/Armarkat-B5701-57-Inch-Tree-Ivory/dp/B003BYQ100/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_3?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1353944266&sr=1-3-fkmr0 &keywords=aramark+cat+tree)
