Many libraries have friends groups. Not so East Liberty library, until now. The newly formed friends of CLP - East Liberty will hold a book sale on the first floor of the library at 130 S. Whitfield Street, East Liberty on Saturday April 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Prices are reasonable: paperbacks and CDs $1; hardbacks $2; magazines 50 cents or 3 for $1. The intention is to raise funds for the library and to encourage people to become friends. It costs nothing to be friend of CLP East Liberty.
