Can anybody recommend restaurants, inns, hotels, etc., that would be good for a first wedding anniversary next weekend (Oct. 6-8)? We haven't made plans yet because my dad died unexpectedly about 6 weeks ago. Needless to say, we haven't had much time or energy for planning, but we'd still like to do something special. We are outdoors lovers, so it would ideally be some place where we could be outside for some of the time. Relatively local to the greater Pittsburgh area is a must (3 hour drive max). However, any suggestions at all, outdoors-y or not, will be appreciated. Given the nature of the last minute timing, we'll forgo the "perfect plans" for this year.
