[Highland Park] Sewer work begin [sic] in Highland Park
Sewer work begin in Highland Park Saturday, August 28, 2010 Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Sewer improvements have begun on Bryant Street in Highland Park, the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority announced. PWSA, which has been working closely with the Highland Park Community Development Corp., will spend about $500,000 to install 900 feet of 36-inch sewer on Bryant Street. The new sewer will expand capacity for current and future developments that will occur there. Also, the new sewer, which will run from Millbrae Way to Mellon Street, will prepare the area for future sewer separations. The work was necessary after PWSA discovered there were capacity limitations on Bryant Street during major storm events.
