Hello Neighbors, As many of you know, Homewood Montessori is a pre-K through 8th grade Pittsburgh Public School magnet school. My 5-year-old son is a kindergartener at the school, loves going to school and is having a great experience. The Pittsburgh Public School magnet registration is November 1-12. Because of the school's expansion into a newly renovated facility, the school anticipates open spots for new students in all grade levels next year. If your child is entering Kindergarten next year, is eligible for the preschool (age 3 or 4 by September 1), or you are considering a school change for your older child, I hope you will consider Homewood Montessori. I have attached a detailed flyer with more information about upcoming activities. Following are the basics: 1) Attend our Open House: Thursday, October 21 from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. Homewood Montessori is located at 7109 Hermitage Street.
