[Highland Park] GAYla event at Pittsburgh Public Market
Hello, all! This weekend, the Pittsburgh Public Market will be highlighting local GLBTQ organizations and businesses. We will be featuring approximately 15 extra guests, from the Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force to The Steel City Softball League. As always, our regular merchants will be featuring hot foods, fresh produce, meat & dairy, baked goods, local beers & wines, vegan & vegetarian alternatives and locally-made crafts & art. In addition to this, we will be featuring lots of kids' activities and entertainment for all ages. Saturday:All Day: Little House Big Art will be on site, with paint-your-own ceramics, button-making and some other surprises.10:00 am: A couple hits from the Rocky Horror Picture Show with The Junior Chamber of Commerce Players11:30 - 12:30: Make Your Own Pasta with the Italian Garden Project ($15/pair, space limited. Register via events@pittsburghpublicmarket.org)1:15 - 2:15: Acoustic music with local performer Tracy Drach3:00 pm: A couple hits from the Rocky Horror Picture Show with The Junior Chamber of Commerce Players Sunday:10:00 - 3:00 pm: Sam the Magic Man11:00 - 2:00 pm: Kristin Ward with Balloon Art1:00 - 4:00 pm: Photography 101 with Maria Palermo ($49, all proceeds go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation) The Market is located on Smallman Street, between 16th & 17th, across the street from Costume World, and only one block from Wholey's.
