Hi neighbors -- Thought I'd pass along information about an upcoming concert put on by the Pittsburgh School for the Choral Arts. PSCA is putting on a concert called *Reflexions* which features Andre Caplet's "Le Miroir de Jesus." The text of this work, 15 poems by Henri Gheon, provides the inspiration for this profound work. This chamber oratorio tells the story of the Life of Christ from the perspective of his mother, Mary. Caplet is a contemporary of Debussy, and his setting is wrought with emotion, drama and spiritual depth.
