Please make the trek up the hill to Winterton St. and shop to support the curling club! There will be tons of treasures and trinkets for sale, including: small tools - pet supplies & equipment - camping gear - bicycle accessories - books - antique cameras/antique camera accessories - a small selection of kids toy's and clothes (infant to preschool) - women's clothing & scarves - and lots and lots of miscellaneous household items, from fans to kitchen stuff to curtains to home decor!
Sale Hours: 9 am till 4 pm (or we close shop). Come after 2 pm for half-price discounts and name-your-own-price deals!
The sale will be set-up in the driveway behind my house (1125 Winterton St.) You can park on Winterton and come up the 15 or so stairs leading up to 1125 (tan brick house), then walk around to the driveway/garage in the rear.
OR: You can park on the block of Bryant Street that runs between Heberton St. and Winterton St and walk down the alley you'll find there (look for the signs). The sale will be set-up in the last driveway on the left. Important note: Please do NOT drive down the alleyway. Please park on the street and walk. There is NO turnaround in the alley, NO room for parking and SEVERAL garages that my neighbors need access in & out of.
Curling? Yes, curling! The Pittsburgh Curling Club is 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, the only curling club in Western Pennsylvania, and we're members of the the US Curling Association, which coordinates the Olympic and international championship teams.
While we have partnered with the RMU Island Sports Center to have curling in Pittsburgh for over 10 years, we dream of building a dedicated curling facility in Pittsburgh that will allow for a robust schedule with more accessible curling opportunities for the entire region!
