I want to second Erin's recommendation of the New Church School. We were not members of this church but our son was warmly welcomed into their middle school about 10 years ago and he recovered his love for learning there.
We found that the students were incredibly kind to each other and the academics were excellent. We appreciated the emphasis on moral decision making and care for the Earth, as well as all the physical activity provided. They helped him apply successfully to the CAS and vocal music program at CAPA for high school.
