As a driver, I know the frustration of having to navigate around bicycle riders on a crowded road. But, as someone who has many dear friends who are bike commuters, I try to take a deep breath and drive around every biker as if I know them personally - because for all I know, I might!

I can use the reminder as much as anyone else to keep my temper, but this is addressed specifically to the woman who screamed "SHUT THE F**K UP" yesterday at my husband on Stanton Avenue around the tennis courts as he was biking around her car and asking for a little more space after she had passed too close to him. You were noticed, and the neighborhood holds you accountable for your behavior.
