Union Project (UP) will host an Open House on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, from 4 – 6pm.
- 4:30 - 5pm: Speakers will present about Union Project’s history and community impact.
- 5 - 6pm: Volunteers will lead small group tours throughout the building.
- Masks are required.
- Visitors are welcome to arrive anytime.
“We are excited to finally be able to share all the work we’ve been doing during the pandemic to sustain this beautiful building, honor our past, and continue to make critical improvements to ensure our facility will continue to serve community members for generations to come!” said Jeffrey Dorsey, Union Project Executive Director.We will:
- Share architectural details and historical timeline of the land and building prepared by Preservation Pittsburgh
- Showcase recent improvements to the facility and share how the space is currently serving the community
- Present future investment plans in both building preservation and improvement
- Include opportunities to speak with UP board and staff, representatives from Preservation Pittsburgh, and various contractors who have worked with UP on past, present, and future projects
