Neighbors-
I'd like to let you know about an absolute treasure that's just on the other side of the Liberty Tubes.  Okay, I know it means crossing a river, but bear with me.

The Hollywood Theater in Dormont is one of the last independent, single-screen theaters left around (places like the Oaks and Regent Square are a dying breed).  We lost the Hollywood for a few years - it closed for economic reasons - but it has been reopened as a not-for-profit, running on volunteer steam power.  Check out the movie list - I saw Indiana Jones on the big screen there a few weeks ago, and now it's a whole scary movie fest for Oct.!  North by Northwest?  I'm there!!!    And where else can you go see Rocky Horror at the same place that Steve Chbosky (Perks of Being a Wallflower) did?  Also - get this - they have a balcony.

Tix are cheap.  Popcorn is good.  Clientele are quirky  Check 'em out before you consider going to a megaplex.

Your neighbor (and big fan of the theater),
Helen
