Friends,
We live in a typical 100 year old house with wooden double-hung interior windows and wooden "pop-out" storm windows and screens that were added some time after the house was built. These wooden storms need to be replaced with something more modern, but I really want want to keep the wooden interior windows intact--many of them have stained glass or diamond shaped lights inside the muntins. I suspect we are looking at big dollars here, but I would appreciate any suggestions you might have for contractors who could handle this kind of work.
Thanks,
