My daughter is part of Three Rivers Junior Rowing and I am a member of the TRJR Boosters. As a fundraiser, we are collecting used sneakers from folks who would otherwise be giving or throwing them away. It is estimated that at least 200 million pairs of shoes and sneakers end up in landfills each year.
